What is the Foureyes CRM consent writing feature?

CRM Consent Writing is a feature that helps ensure your customers’ communication preferences are always updated in your CRM. It specifically manages whether a customer is opted in or opted out of Prospect Engagement texts or emails.

Simply put: if a customer changes their mind about receiving texts or emails, that choice is automatically updated and saved in their CRM profile.

Can I enable this separately for texts and emails?

Yes. CRM Consent Writing can be configured independently for each communication channel. You can have it enabled for Prospect Engagement texts but not for emails, or enabled for emails but not for texts, depending on how your dealership manages consent across different channels.

Why is this important?

  • It helps you respect your customers’ preferences.

  • It ensures your team always sees an up-to-date opt-in or opt-out status.

  • It keeps communication consistent across your system.

Which CRMs is it used for?

CRM Consent Writing is currently available for the following CRMs:

  • Reynolds & Reynolds

  • VinSolutions

  • DriveCentric

  • Tekion

  • Elead (via Fortellis)

  • DealerSocket

In short:

CRM Consent Writing keeps customer text message and email preferences clear, accurate, and easy to find in your CRM so your team can communicate confidently while respecting customer choices.
