How it works Microsoft 365 Copilot does not let each user add an MCP server in chat. Instead, someone at your company builds a small Foureyes agent in Copilot Studio one time. Then staff use that agent inside Microsoft 365 Copilot and Teams. Before you start • The person who builds the agent needs a Copilot Studio license that can publish. A trial license can build and test, but cannot publish. • Staff who use the agent need access to Microsoft 365 Copilot. • Your company must allow Power Platform apps in Teams. • A Teams admin must approve the agent before everyone can use it. If that's not you, forward this article to your Microsoft 365 or IT admin. |
Admin steps (one-time, org-wide) Build the agent 1. Log into Copilot Studio at copilotstudio.microsoft.com 2. Create a new agent. Name it "Foureyes" and describe it, for example: "Answers questions about our dealership's Foureyes leads, customers, inventory and audiences." Add the Foureyes MCP 1. In your agent, go to the Tools page 2. Select Add a tool → New tool → Model Context Protocol 3. Enter "Foureyes" in Server name 4. Enter a Server description, for example: "Foureyes dealership data: CRM leads, customers, vehicles, audiences and consent." Copilot uses this text to decide when to call Foureyes 5. Enter "https://mcp.foureyes.app" in Server URL 6. For authentication, select OAuth 2.0, then select Dynamic discovery 7. Select Create, then select Next 8. Select Create a new connection. Log in to your Foureyes account when prompted: enter your email, and you'll receive a login code 9. Select Add to agent Publish it to Microsoft 365 Copilot and Teams 1. Publish the agent 2. Select Channels, then select the Microsoft 365 and Microsoft Teams tile 3. Select Make agent available in Microsoft Copilot 4. Select Add channel 5. Select Availability options → Show to everyone in my org → Submit to org catalog → Yes 6. A Teams admin approves the agent in the Teams admin center Once approved, Foureyes appears under Built by your org in the Microsoft 365 Agent Store. |
*Then, every staff member adds the agent: 1. Open the Microsoft 365 Agent Store and find Foureyes under Built by your org 2. Add the agent 3. In Copilot, type @, select Foureyes, and ask your question 4. If prompted, log in to your Foureyes account: enter your email, and you'll receive a login code to authenticate |
Good to know • If your company has Power Platform data policies, they also apply to the Foureyes connection. • If you change the agent's name, icon or description later, it needs admin approval again. Other updates do not. Microsoft's guides: Connect your agent to an MCP server and Publish to Teams and Microsoft 365 |
