By default, all inventory listed on your website is eligible for inclusion in Prospect Engagement emails. Use Inventory Filters to exclude certain inventory from emails to align with your inventory strategy and ensure that you’re promoting the vehicles you can actually sell.

Accessing Inventory Filters

  1. From the Prospect Engagement tab in Foureyes, select Email Settings from the menu on the left.

  2. Click on the Filters tab

Choosing the Right Inventory Filter

There are three ways to filter the inventory promoted in your emails:

1. Condition

Use this filter to exclude inventory from your emails based on the condition of the vehicle.

2. Image Type

Use this filter to exclude vehicles from your emails that have no photo or still have a stock photo.

3. Inventory Exclusions

Use this filter to exclude specific vehicles by year make model.

For step-by-step instructions, select the option that best describes you:

Exclude New Inventory

If you select this option, only used inventory will be promoted in your emails.

  1. Click on the Condition box to expand the menu

  2. Select Used from the options

Note: promoting ONLY used inventory may limit the number of subscribers who receive emails. If a subscriber’s vehicle of interest is new, and they have only browsed new vehicles on your website, they will not receive emails.

Exclude Inventory with a Stock Image or No Image

If you select this option, only vehicles with a custom image will be promoted in your emails.

  1. Click on the Image Type box to expand the menu

  2. Select Inventory with a Custom Image from the options

Exclude Inventory with No Image

If you select this option, only inventory with an image (stock OR custom) will be promoted in your emails.

  1. Click on the Image Type box to expand the menu

  2. Select Inventory with an Image from the options

Exclude Inventory by YMM

Any YMMs added here will be excluded completely from Foureyes emails.

  1. Click on the Inventory Exclusions box to expand the menu

  2. Click Add Inventory

  3. Select a Year, a Make, and a Model from the dropdown menus

  4. Select the Expiration Date when you'd like the filter to automatically deactivate

  5. Click “Add”

Note: Customers interested in excluded models will still receive emails about other relevant vehicles.
