If you're seeing someone on your Coffee Report or Prospect List that you know is not ready to buy, or maybe they've already purchased a vehicle from you, you can easily Pause them. Pausing a prospect means they will not show up on notifications or your Coffee Report. This allows you to take control over your daily follow-up list.
NOTE: Paused prospects will continue to show up on your Prospect List with a label indicating that they have been paused (image below). We keep these prospects on the Prospect List so you're able to gauge their interests based off of their recent shopping activity and, in the event that they appear back in market, you can un-pause these prospects.
How to Pause notifications on a prospect:
- Find the prospect's name in your Coffee Report or Prospect List
- Below the prospect's name, contact information, and shopping history, you'll see the Pause button
- After clicking the Pause button, you'll have two options: "Pause notifications for a time period" or "Pause notifications"
- Select the option best suited to the particular prospect you're pausing
- Click "Save"
NOTE: Unless you know without a shadow of a doubt that this customer will not be purchasing a vehicle from you ever again, do not select "Pause notifications forever." We recommend pausing a prospect for a month after they've purchased and three months if they failed a credit application.
